This Study is making the rounds of all the News Services, especially the
Red State type, with titles like....

      Production of electric vehicles has twice the global warming

and

  Green Weenie of the Week: The Electric Car (Again!)

and

Electric cars Pollute MORE than petrol models..

We need some FACT CHECKING on this one...  And it's too long and too
deep for me..

But here is a synopsis, and links to the whole report.

Seems to me the thing they may be leaving out is the impact of the whole
Petrol Industry...

from Oil Exploration, to Drilling, to Transport, to Refining,
to....and   WHO paid for the study ?

The Renault Users Website is pretty good:  http://www.renaultclub.us/.  I
have received some parts from Jose Agosto (who runs sort of a Renault
parts business in Florida) as well as others on the list.

Also a while back, I subscribed to a Lectric Leopard Yahoo group. (
LectricLeopard*******)  Lots of folks there that could
probably help Patrick.

I joined because we were the Seattle Dealer ( 1980 - 1985 )  That's how
long it took to sell four of them.

But NO REGRETS...   it is how we started down our EV road...   Now we're
still at it.
