Version 17.0 came to my computer this morning. Now every time I open
Thunderbird 2 or 3 copies open at once. If I close one, all close. How
can I get just one?

Fixed it!!
Go to C:\Documents and Settings\{ USER }\Local Settings\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\{ PROFILE }
and delete sessions.json
have a look in the bugzilla database pllease.
Not seeing it here. Could this be an OS problem? It really shouldn't
be possible to have two windows like that, and have clicking the close
box on one, close both.
This worked for me but it was C:\Documents and Settings\{ USER }\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\{ PROFILE }\session.json
